About Ray

Starting in 2020, Ray Collins made one of the biggest splashes for a new agent in local real estate, closing $43 million in his first full two years and jumping to the top 1% of local Realtors. Since then, Ray has won sales awards each year and added another $40 million to his career sales volume. Ray was the cover article in Top Producers magazine as well as the subject of a full-page article in Florida Realtor Magazine,. He's moderated industry events, been a frequent podcast guest and placed more than a dozen of his listings in the media. 

Why?

Ray's previous career as a TV News Anchor gives him a tenacity, competitiveness and work-ethic that tranfers well to real estate.  One of his 100+ past clients wrote in a testimonial, "Ray's not just the most responsive Realtor I've ever had, he's the most responsive person I've ever known!" 

Covering the Gulf Coast of Florida for most of the past 30 years, Ray also has a vast knowledge of the area, as well as a wide network of resources.  He likes to joke, "I was in your home five days a week, now I can sell your home."

Ray is a Buffalo native, has been inducted into halls of fame in his high school and college (St. Bonaventure University) and first moved to Florida in 1987.  He and his wife, Erin, live in downtown Sarasota and ride their bikes to tennis, pickleball and yoga. Ray is the emcee of many local events including the Sarasota--and Naples--pro tennis tournaments...in 2020, voters elected him to county-wide office...and he's been published 150 times as a travel writer. 

But Ray loves real estate, doesn't mind working seven days a week and takes great satisfaction in helping people reach their respective real estate  goals.  "This isn't a job, it's a lifestyle. I love it!"
